This small roach is a great feeder when you need large quantities of tiny to med size feeders. I use these when my spiderlings are too small to eat anything else. They may have the potential for becoming a pest although I have never heard of it happening. The lobsters do climb and can be kept in their enclosure with a thin layer of vasaline. I mortally wound the roach with tweezers so the roach can not harm the spiderling or escape. These will keep moving for quite some time even severely wounded which makes them perfect for that purpose. You will want to weigh the risk/reward factor before deciding to keep this species.
