The rear horn baboon is popular because of the grey/black markings and the horn protruding from the top of the carapace . They are fun to raise because they are voracious eaters and at least my female comes right over to the side of the enclosure when opened and confronts the invader. She want to know whats going on at all times. She is a great mom. I let her keep the sack and on first instar I separated them and let them molt in their own containers. This species comes from South Africa in the Botswana and Lesotho region. I still need to add photos of females for sale but they do look like mom, just not as big.
